Dinosaur Valley State Park
Glen Rose, TX   April, 2018

Dinosaur Valley has 46 RV sites, 8 walk-in primitive sites, and 7 backpack camp sites. The park has 10 hiking trails from 0.29 to 7.50 miles that total 19+ miles of trails.  Yes, you can see dinosaur tracks in the river bed at several locations.  There is a park store, playground, parking areas, etc.

This video is a short slideshow of our trip to Dinosaur Valley.  It covers the general aspects of the park, trails, etc.
Its 5:17 minutes long.

 There are several trails in the park that range from easy to difficult.  Some are mostly flat ground to hiking on a ridge line above the river.

The ranger station at the park entry has an interior and exterior exhibit area.  The park store area has the dinosaur models.

 Waco Mammoth National Monument is where a small herd of mammoths were discovered.  There is building over the dig site and the tours are in small groups and are guided.

The Ballroom Track Site video (9:25) is a site where tracks are visible in the river bed and you will need to wade in the water to see them.  It is called the 'ballroom' site because there are numerous tracks going in several directions like the dinosaurs were dancing.

 The main track site.  There are several large tracks in the river bed and can be accessed from a parking area.  There are stepping stones to the tracks and depending on water levels, you may need to wade.
